@hlega @aproposnix I wish I could tell you with certainty. From the history I’ve studied, frankly there’s been a consistent and intentional manipulation of empathy for people who suffered in WWII. They’ve taken that empathy, weaponized it in the form of lobbyists and legislators.

Team that up with American colonial interests wanting access to Middle East and the resources they have, and what you have is a complete corruption of American government via AIPAC, under the guise of “antisemitism.”

We know. We're cheering you on from the sidelines and doing similar stuff here. Our tv news did have reports on #tesla #protest s here in Canada. Lots of them across the country in solidarity....and cause we're scared and pissed.

@TomDB yeah that’s what I’m figuring out. Not only is American media trash inside the country, it’s trash with what it lets out of the country too. Most of my news is coming directly from people posting on socials. Not mainstream media. It’s very sad.

I wonder if algorithms on most social media are stifling the protest posts. We're getting (almost) no info about them on our mainstream media in Canada. I'm encouraging people to boost anything they see about protests here on Mastodon.

Like that time Iran was revolting and Twitter was the only place it was broadcast and the billies and their besties were like, "Never again" but the wrong way and killed it.

@GGMcBG that actually started with Egyptian/Arab Spring of about 2010/2012 where the whole Syria and Egypt got free and used FB and Twitter to do it. Since then, they’ve purposely been working on slowly dismantling everything good about social media.

@KarenDorman @TomDB they very much are. I have to physically search for “protests today” or “LA protests” in order to get things into my feed or see anything relevant. US media has been bought out and compromised. They will not show you.

Nevertheless, it’s never failed… there has been a massive protest somewhere everyday in the US since the nazis infiltrated.
