@TomDB yeah that’s what I’m figuring out. Not only is American media trash inside the country, it’s trash with what it lets out of the country too. Most of my news is coming directly from people posting on socials. Not mainstream media. It’s very sad.
Like that time Iran was revolting and Twitter was the only place it was broadcast and the billies and their besties were like, "Never again" but the wrong way and killed it.
@GGMcBG that actually started with Egyptian/Arab Spring of about 2010/2012 where the whole Syria and Egypt got free and used FB and Twitter to do it. Since then, they’ve purposely been working on slowly dismantling everything good about social media.
