While it might keep jobs and increase stock values: wars do far more permanent damage than is paid for by the short term gain - pollution, migration, poverty, anger, trauma, injustice and history. No spine from Germany, UK and USA will cost our western world for generations to come. Interventions in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, and all the other wars in my lifetime have benefited no one.
