I'm guessing by "making calls" it really means making threats.
@MsMissy @GottaLaff Exactly. I am sure it's not the old political horse-trading that used to go on (and is part of compromise that naturally happens in governance).
It's more likely "So ... nice Senate seat you got here. Which you kept without any serious primary challenger last time round. Hmmm ... so how you fixed for cash should we run [insert name of crazy GOP possibility who runs on grievance] against you?" or "Ya know, you should ask Mitt Romney how much he spends per day on security."
I have called my senators and my rep and told them I will support any primary challenger to their seat as long as they keep voting with fascists
They have more to lose by confirming these unqualified fascists - their own voters are turning away from them. And rightly so. They're not afraid the right will prop up a challenger. They're beginning to be afraid their own voters will.
