What do you consider EXPENSIVE for an espresso machine price. Choose the option that, for you, is the point where the price is too high, no matter the features.

These days healthcare is getting increasingly unaffordable. So is food. And housing. And addressing climate change. I suspect that the percentage of people willing to spend even just $250 on an espresso machine is steadily dropping.
@Hawaii the people willing only to spend $250 (or much less) on an espresso machine has always been the vast majority of the population.
Not very representative of my audience here on the Fediverse, but it's a fact. If it was different, 25 million espresso machines a year would sell just in the USA. Instead, it's more like around 250K-350K total sales last time I got real numbers (pre-covid).
