A 3 day trial over a high school student picking up someone else's airpods, then returning them when someone pointed it out. The spokesperson for the city said “We are glad that this matter has come to a conclusion, the Defendant wanted her day in court and now that she has had it we are ready to move on.”
If I was a Napierville taxpayer, I'd want at minimum some substantive legal changes to prevent similar abuse. But I'd rather see some folks fired for idiocy.
