A High Contrast Black And White Seascape Photo In Landscape Format. The Lower Half Of The Image Is Taken Up Mostly By A Body Of Jet Black Sea Water. In The Bottom Centre And Rising Upwards Towards The Middle Before Angling To The Right Is The White Wake Of A Passing Ship. Either Side Of The Ship's Wake Are Channel Markers Made Up Of A Tripod Of Long Poles With A Circular Marker And Light On Top. Above The Water And To The Left Is The Distant Rising Terrain Of A Range Of Hills Or Small Mountains. To The Right Are A Few Small Skerries, Just Visible Above The Water. Above The Water Is An Expanse Of Sea Fog Illuminated By The Rising Sun. Above The Fog A Jet Black Clear And Cloudless Sky.
The Location Is The Risøyrenna, A Dredged Deep Water Channel Opened In 1922 Allowing Ships To Avoid The Open Waters Rounding Andøya Island And The Perilous Norwegian Sea (2018).
