Below The Centre And Mainly To The Left Is A Young Man In A Long Single-Person Kayak Heading Out To Sea And Passing Through Some Small Breaking Waves. The Man's Shirtless Back Is Catching The Still Low Rising Sun That Is Behind. He Is Holding A Paddle That Is Clear Of The Water. The Kayak Appears About 50% Longer Than A Normal (Inland) Kayak And This One Has A Small Rudder On Its Stern That Is Clear Of The Water. Ahead Is A Gentle Swell Perhaps Giving The Pacific Its Name.
The Location Is Hermosa Beach In Southern California (2013).
