A shot directly facing a small owl nestled in the hollow of a dead tree. It is inside the hollow but with most of the front of its body visible. It is a light red all over and has small “ear tufts”, and its chest feathers are poofed out. It has its eyes completely closed and its beak nestled into its neck feathers, looking like its sleeping soundly.
