Ok, #fediverse, my book is nearing completion. But I'm having trouble with the title.
The full title will be "Move Slowly and Build Bridges: Mastodon, the Fediverse, and the Struggle for _____ Social Media."
The blank is my issue.
Which should it be? Vote in the poll below! It's likely I'll use whatever people recommend.

@rwg non-commercial? Alternative? The future of? I feel like ethical isn’t capturing it cause I wouldn’t necessarily equate noncentralized social media automatically as ethical. (these are my 2 cents nobody asked me for :P)
@rscarlets @rwg I like “the future of” (and, if you want to be more dramatic, perhaps “the soul of?”) for the reasons Rebecca stated.
