The amazing sand dunes with lagoons of Lençóis Maranhenses in the state of Maranhão in Brazil.
In 1981 the Lençóis Maranhenses have been declared a national park (Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses) to protect and preserve this unique eco system. The park covers a protected area of 155.000 ha out of which 90.000 ha are covered with these pitoresque sand dunes which fill with sweet water during the raining season.
Sadly on 3rd of December 2019 the former president determined by decree to privatize the Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses, Parque Nacional de Jericoacoara (Ceará) and Parque Nacional do Iguaçu (Paraná).

I completely agree with this post. I was seriously considering moving to Capture One, but was concerned about costs. So I went with a year subscription of the Photography 20GB plan at the end of November. If I had known at the time that Adobe was jacking up their price, I probably would have gone with Capture One because I would not be surprised if Adobe's 20GB photography yearly plan goes up as well to pay for AI generative crap.

I serious hate #Adobe. The price rises are clearly just designed to make people commit to longer or pay more. I really hate this subscription model.

Sadly, #CaptureOne is also going that way. But at least they give you a free perpetual licence after 5 years unlike Adobe.

The annoying thing is that the only viable mobile editing platform for Android seems to be only #Lightroom, which means potentially being stuck with Adobe.

Wondering if the #photography community has any more ideas though.

Does anyone have any experience with Capture One for photography? Is it any good? Worth the money for a perpetual license?

I'm looking for alternatives to get off Lightroom and I'm finding very few options that offer file management in addition to editing.

I could not get a tripod set up in this spot back in June, but I loved the perspective, so I took some handheld shots at reasonably low shutter speeds until I got a few with reasonable sharpness.
