And so in August 2019, Juraj Krajčík, then a soft-faced 16-year-old with a dense pile of brown hair, immersed himself in a loose collection of extremist chat groups and channels on the massive social media and messaging platform Telegram. This online community, which was dubbed Terrorgram, had a singular focus: inciting acts of white supremacist terrorism.
Over the next three years, Krajčík made hundreds — possibly thousands — of posts in Terrorgram chats and channels, where a handful of influential content creators steered the conversation toward violence. Day after day, post after post, these influencers cultivated Krajčík, who lived with his family in a comfortable apartment in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. They reinforced his hatreds, fine-tuned his beliefs and fed him tips, encouraging him to attack gay and Jewish people and political leaders and become, in their parlance, a “saint.”
On Oct. 12, 2022, Krajčík, armed with his father’s .45-caliber handgun, opened fire on three people sitting outside an LGBTQ+ bar in Bratislava, killing two and wounding the third before fleeing the scene.

If 4Chan has taught me anything, it's that when right-wingers talk about "grooming", they're not actually afraid of kids being groomed for sexual abuse. They're afraid of kids being "groomed" to be accepting of different sexualities and gender identities. They're afraid of Gen Alpha growing up to be progressives who accept themselves and others for who they are. That is a conservative's worst nightmare.

As it also turns out, the COO of the company is, in fact, the director of a Canadian far-right media outlet, too. So I guess this whole selling fascist merch on your platform is just par for the course and totally fine on Shopify, save for any fraud that might go on because apparently there's some actual ideological alignment there.

In one such example, I was given a post (example), where it amounts to care trolling (in my opinion).
The "person" (example) went on about how they cared about their "friend" and how they hope they could have a long, happy, and fulfilling life as a productive member of society, once they received treatment for their "condition". The "condition" in question, was they had publically come out as gay. And this person was implying that it was not their fault for being "unwell" and they hope they can receive treatment.
Normally, I would have removed a post, but according to my new lessons, that would be the wrong action.

Even with "DEIA", schools and workplaces were not accessible and inclusive.
The right-wing rhetoric about aid (even things we paid into like disability insurance or unemployment insurance) is that people are being lazy, choosing not to work.
However, they simultaneously don't want training and workplaces to be accessible. And that was BEFORE all this.

Today in Labor History January 30, 1933: German President Hindenburg appointed Adolf Hitler Chancellor. Almost immediately, Hitler began his attacks on labor, with his Sturmabteilung (paramilitary) raiding and burning union offices and assassinating labor leaders, while the police looked on. In May, 1933, he created the German Labor Front, a fascist labor organization to replace the gutted unions. They sent many of the labor leaders to concentration camps and abolished collective bargaining and union elections. Also in May, 1933, the Nazis also attacked and destroyed the Institute for Sexual Sciences, home to the world’s first trans medical clinic, which performed the world’s first sexual reassignment surgeries, for Karl Meir Baer, in 1906, and Lili Elbe, in 1930-1931.
Whether or not you think the comparison with Nazi Germany is a valid one, they did come after trans people almost from day 1, just like Trump. And Project 2025 very directly targets unions and labor activism. So, if your workplace isn’t already organized, it’s past time to get started.
