An photograph of mine of a colorful peacock tail feather which I digitally transformed into a 'field of feathers' and added one of my sunset skies and then some painted trees silhouetted in the background. It's already Thursday. It's funny how time seems to pass so quickly after you retire. It's been over two years for me, and I'm still not bored. This hobby helps me stay engaged.

Oh, the dogs were asleep, but now Charlie has decided he wants something. Maybe he wants me to go back to sleep. I know I want to—all I have to do is kick back in my recliner, and I should be able to float away until about seven. That's when Charlie will start the process of waking me up for mealtime at seven-thirty. They have such a sense of time, like food-driven alarm clocks that always go off half an hour early.

You know, I thought that when the weather turned cold, that I would get all kind of things done. But so far, I keep putting those things off for tomorrow. There are a few things that can't wait for tomorrow, but for the most part, I always have tomorrow ... until I don't I suppose. A thing about retirement that I didn't know until I retired is that because tomorrow is usually free, so to speak, it is easy to start putting things-to-do on the tomorrow list. That list can get pretty long. But every once in a while, I do one or maybe two. That is procrastination, but other things get put on the list at the last moment, like naps and books and blogging.
