In an unprecedented move, the Colorado Supreme Court declared former President Donald Trump ineligible for the state’s ballots because of the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause. The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to weigh in on the case, and the Colorado court has given a deadline of Jan. 5 to settle the matter in time for ballot printing.
